An aluminum and fiberglass construction eliminates corrosion, helps to reduce driver fatigue, and offers a quiet, vibration free experience for the driver. The panoramic windshield and lower front windows enhances driver safety and performance by increasing their visibility. Oshkosh's cab is the largest available, keeping the operator comfortable and alert with plenty of space for an additional observer. Full Length, wide, walkways allow any size operator easy access to the chassis and cab doors. |

The H-Series command center eliminates the need for huge harnesses and communicates between components on a single cable. On-board error messages provide instant feedback to the operator about potential problems, reducing maintenance time for diagnostics and minimizing downtime costs. The arm rest is easy to reach with safety controls interlocked in the park position |

The heat-treated, carbon manganese frame rail employs a single formed channel design eliminating corrosion. A strong, flexible, frame resists bending and cracking during extreme use while the front steering axle is custom designed and manufactured by Osh Kosh to provide the longest possible life. The H-Series' driving-steering axles have the largest gross axle-weight-rating available, giving you the flexibility necessary to accommodate the largest and most effective attachments. Driver controlled traction differentials lock for maximum control and minimal individual wheel slippage |

The OshKosh 55000 series transfer case was purpose-designed for the OshKosh Chassis and is supported with the ease and consistency of replaceable parts. The 55000 series is compatible with the high-horsepower, high-torque drive engines used by OshKosh; it can easily transfer power to the front and rear driving axles as necessary. Operators can select the correct speed for the system and shift only when allowed, protecting the transfer case from damage |

The powered drive engine cover raises and lowers, making it easier for technicians to access the engine and more likely to perform the maintenance necessary to reduce failures and the associated costs. Operators can choose how the drive engine takes in air (outside or inside) to suit the conditions, preventing snow ingestion and preventing damage. The engine is compliant with current EPA emission requirements. |
